Did you know that Hamilton was chosen for Public Transit integration with Google Maps?

Well, it was! To use it, just input your starting point and end destination in the map below, and Google will tell you how to get there using that fancy HSR buspass of yours.

Tips

  • Be as specific as you can - McMaster has a number of bus stops to choose from, so be sure to select the one that heads in the direction you'd like to go.
  • Click the show options link just below the destination box - you can specify what time you'd like to depart, and even what time you need to be there.
  • Remember, this is still the HSR - plan to be at the bus stop at least five minutes before your bus is slated to arrive.
  • If you find a bus route that works well, share it in the comments.
  • Click the Print button and it will generate a new page you can print with only the directions on it.
  • Click the Link button if you want to send the directions to someone in an email, IM, or if you decide to share a route here in the comments.

  • Irene Laurie  - Love the market!
I know so many students that head to the downtown market! They like the prices better than the grocery stores.

For students who are in the Dundas area, a Farmers' Market recently opened there. It's behind the library, off Hatt St. every Thursday from 3 to 7. Vendors are supposed to be organic (although, not necessarily certified organic). Some of the prices can be a bit higher---you pay more for NOT getting something---pesticides!
